Abstract: This review article provides an in-depth exploration of modern extraction techniques employed in analytical processes, highlighting their principles, applications, and advancements. Extraction methods play a crucial role in obtaining high-quality samples for analytical purposes, and recent developments in this field have significantly enhanced efficiency and sensitivity. The focus is placed on four prominent extraction techniques: Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE), Solid-Phase Extraction (SPE), Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME), and Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE), with a special emphasis on the widely accepted QuEChERS method for pesticide residue detection.
