Face API are used in the project.
Nowadays, keeping financial transactions safe is very important. Our project focuses on creating a Face Recognition System that allows users to make transactions securely using facial authentication. This system removes the need for passwords or PINs, which can be stolen or misused. The system works in two main steps: registration and transaction authentication. First, a user must register by taking and saving a facial image. They can update their profile picture when needed. When making a transaction, the system captures the user's face through a camera and compares it with the saved image. If the faces match, the transaction goes through; if not, it is stopped to prevent fraud. One major challenge in face recognition is preventing fraud, where someone tries to trick the system using a photo, video, or mask. To stop this, our system uses anti-spoofing techniques like liveness detection. This checks for natural movements, skin texture, and light reflections to ensure the face is real. We also use challenge-response methods, like asking the user to blink or move their head, to confirm that a live person is present. To make transactions even more secure, we can combine face recognition with other methods like iris scanning and voice recognition. This multi-layered security makes it harder for fraudsters to trick the system.
