Abstract:This study explores the paradoxical presence of high Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among value education teachers, despite their experience of declining Quality of Work Life (QWL). In the field of education, especially value education, teachers often exhibit selfless behavior that extends beyond their contractual duties. The study aims to understand the intrinsic and extrinsic motivators behind this phenomenon, while identifying key factors affecting QWL and OCB. By analyzing perceptions, reports, and theoretical frameworks, this article sheds light on why these educators prioritize purpose over perks in their professional conduct.
