The Smart Potter is an automated plant-watering system designed to maintain optimal soil moisture levels, ensuring efficient plant care and water conservation.Utilizing an Arduino Nano, the system monitors soil moisture through a sensor and controls a water pump to irrigate plants only when needed. A water level sensor in the reservoir prevents dry pump operation. Additionally, manual controls through buttonsor a touch panel allow user intervention. This system is designed for home gardens and small farms, offering real-time monitoring and feedback via a serial monitor. Its modular design makes it scalable,cost-effective, and easy to maintain. Future enhancements include IoT integration for remote control and advanced algorithms to optimize irrigation based on plant and seasonal needs. The Smart Potter promotes sustainable gardening by reducing manual watering and conserving water, making it ideal for households, nurseries, and small-scale agriculture.
