This paper presents an IoT-based Mining Tracking and Worker Safety Helmet system designed to improve the safety of workers in mining environments. The system continuously monitors the location of miners and environmental conditions such as gas leakage and temperature levels. Real-time data is transmitted to the control room to ensure immediate response to hazardous situations. The proposed system uses a GPS module, gas sensors, temperature sensors, and a wireless communication module integrated into the helmet. Experimental results show efficient and accurate tracking and alert generation, thereby enhancing worker safety.
