A multidisciplinary field of study called nanotechnology is receiving a lot of attention for its use in the creation of novel chemical entities as well as the identification and management of various illnesses. Improvements in bioavailability are among the several benefits that come with the drug delivery systems that nanomedicine technology has created, such as nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, nanosuspensions, and nanosponges. Nanosponges are essentially microscopic sponges that resemble viruses and can hold a range of medications within them. Upon interacting with a certain target spot, this sponge can move throughout the body, adhere to the surface, and begin releasing the medication under regulated circumstances. Targeting system of drug delivery in a regulated way is made possible by nano sponge technology. Nanosponges are used to integrate both hydrophilic and lipophilic medicines. Usually having a porous outer layer, the medicine can be released under regulated conditions. One of these sponges’ key qualities is that they dissolve well in water, making them ideal for medications with low solubility.
