An essential component of combustion systems that guarantees effective and secure operation is flame stability. Chakraborty / U-shaped flame holders represent a potentially effective passive method to accomplish this objective. This study examines the mechanics of flame stabilization as well as the efficacy of Chakraborty / U-shaped flame holders in doing so.
