Abstract

Mobile ad hoc network is an emerging research area. In MANET nodes are tends to move a lot. Mobile ad hoc networks are more vulnerable to attacks. Black hole attack is very dangerous for mobile ad hoc networks because it drops all packets without forwarding to next node. We have presented several existing methods to detect black hole attack in mobile ad hoc network. Black Hole Attack is generally see in the AODV Routing protocol. In this Paper we survey different work to detect the black hole.
